The system handling genealogy data has been updated using The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding©, which utilizes AJAX to allow for ancestor and decedent trees to be more interactive. This also results in the database now being in MySQL, and being accessed via PHP. In addition to the interactive charts, you can now build timelines of individuals, as well as compute how two people are related. You can also click on the little green magnifying glass you see next to locations to see them in Google Maps, which will open in a new window or tab.
Click on the Genealogy button on either menu to get started.
The new software has the ability to store histories, documents, photos, cemetery and other data. Overtime, this data will become more complete. As always, please contact us if you know something we don't.
